Created in 2014 by Nathalie Guiot, an author and curator, the Fondation Thalie is a committed philanthropic project, which aims to support contemporary creation as a lever for action, exchange and transmission.
Based in Brussels, the Foundation offers a multidisciplinary program which combines visual arts, performance, literature and culinary arts. It welcomes an audience of passionate amateurs alongside professionals and students.
Activities include : Semi-annual exhibitions, supporting emerging and female artists in particular ; Encounters, projections, performances, readings, dinners ; Artists and writers residencies (by invitation) : European chronicles ; Publication of texts ; Outside the walls ; Co-productions with cultural and artistic events or institutions ; Educational and artistic projects outside of Europe.
