The Fondation des Artistes is a non-profit foundation recognized for public utility, whose mission is to support visual artists at each decisive stage of their career ; from leaving art school to a retirement home dedicated to them (the Maison nationale des artistes in Nogent-sur-Marne), including production aid, residency grants abroad, support for dissemination (via its art center, MABA) and the allocation of artist studios. The Foundation works on donations and legs and on its property income which is redistributed for the benefit of artists, according to the wishes of the donors.
