The Bredin Prat Foundation is the main private contemporary art venue in Paris dedicated to “what makes a tableau” : painting and photography.
Located in a historic art deco building on the Quai d’Orsay, near the Grand Palais, the foundation exhibits its international contemporary collection alternately, two months a year, with the Jean-François Prat Prize which serves as a research radar on painting in the world and selects, each year, three artists whose innovative work deserves to be exhibited for what it brings to the history of painting and to society.
The foundation builds on the links that the law firm Bredin Prat has developed with contemporary art since 40 years.
