Alberto Salvadori is curator, and the Founder and Director of ICA Milano and Director of Ugo Mulas Estate. He’s specialized in cultural strategies and developing of museum strategies. He has a degree in Art History from Pisa University and had scholarship at Sussex University and Reading University and a Specialization degree in Modern and Contemporary European Art History. In 2001 he takes a MPhil in Curatorial Studies at Brera Academy in Milano. From 2003 to 2009 he was curator of Florence Palazzo Pitti Modern Gallery Museum Collection Catalog; 2009 – 2016 he was a former Artistic Director of Marino Marini Foundation (Firenze); 2007 – 2020 former Director Observatory of Contemporary Arts for the Florence Bank Foundation Fondazione CRF. From 2016 to 2022 he has planning and realized for the San Giuliano-Ferragamo family the HZero Museum in Florence. From 2021 to 2023 has followed the realization and the opening of the new pavilion of Magazzino Italian Art (New York). He has experience in the Italians art fairs, is the curator of Ventesimo+ at Arte Fiera Bologna, previously, 2023-2025, was the curator of Multiply section at Arte Fiera Bologna and from 2016 to 2022 he was the curator of the Modern and Decades sections at MIART, Milano. Has realised severals museum projects at Mart Rovereto, Fondazione Strozzi Firenze, Stanze della Fotografia Venezia, Museo Madre Napoli, CCA Montreal, Fondazione Ibereè Camargo Porto Alegre, Pinacoteca di Stato San Paolo, Museo du Casa Brasilera San Paolo, CCBB San Paolo and Rio de Janeiro, Magazzino Italian Art Cold Spring, New York. He’s on the Scientific Commitee of Fondazione Pomodoro, Milano and Centro per l’arte Contemporanea Luigi Pecci, Prato. He was part of severals board cultural institution: Istituzione Musei Civici di Bologna, Polimoda (Firenze), Fondazione Ragghianti (Lucca), Fondazione Pomodoro (Milano), Magazzino Italian art (Cold Spring, NYC) Italian Council (Roma). He’s Professor in Curatorial Studies at Polimoda Florence and editorialist of The Art Newspaper.
